Rockies in Arizona

I got the opportunity to travel with my son Chase and his team to Arizona for a baseball tournament a couple weeks ago. It was crazy hot, like 110 degrees every day.  My sister lives in Arizona and I loved that she came out to support Chase in the crazy heat and loved getting to spend a little bit of time with her.

The boys played awesome and even got to play at Hohokam Stadium which is the Cubs training field.  I loved that the dugout had mist machines misting the whole time to keep the the players cooled down.  I’m not sure it worked on keeping me cool, but I loved how the mist looked in pictures! 

We had so much fun!  The house we all stayed in had a pool, a hot tub, a pool table, & a putting green. For the record I do have to say I schooled all the boys in pool!

We had a little Harlem Shake Fun, got to go to an Arizona Diamondbacks game and I even got  the opportunity to translate for a couple of the boys in the van on the ride home from the Diamondbacks game.   The last day we spent in Arizona we went to Wet-n-Wild and a couple of the girls talked me in to all kinds of crazy water rides- which was a blast!  Then me and the girls did a little photo shoot.  Love them! I can still remember going on trips with friends when I was 16 and what awesome memories I made.  This was one of those trips, that I will remember forever.

Hallie & Morgan

These two darling sisters and their Mom,(probably more Mom) wanted to have a photo shoot before getting their hair chopped off. LOL.

After seeing them all done up. hair curled to perfection, I can’t believe they are going to cut their beautiful hair. Although I am sure it will be  super cute!  I am so excited to show you these darling photos from their shoot.   Thanks Hallie & Morgan for a super fun photo shoot!

You girls Rock!

Taylor Swift

This past week I got the opportunity to take my oldest daughter to the Taylor Swift Concert @ the Tacoma Dome.  It was just was a girl trip for the two of us and it was FABULOUS!  My daughter Brielle is now a freshman in high school and I can’t hardly believe how fast the time is flying by.  I loved being able to have this time just with her and we had a blast.

We had KILLER seats, in the 7th row on the floor pretty much center stage.  Whoo hoo!  I don’t think we could have had a better spot to view the concert.  Except for the screeching girls behind us, and pink light stick twirler girl in front of us it was AWESOME.  Taylor Swift definitely knows how to put on a good show.  She is very animated and plays to her crowd very well.  She also sounded great!  It was an awesome production!!  I debated weather or not to take in my camera because I knew how heavy it would be to cart in but loved that I had it afterwards.  Check out these fun shots I got at the concert. 

Thanks for a fun girls trip Brielle!!  I love being with you and LOVE that we got our own Mommy/Daughter trip! So much fun!

Windy City

I thought that Chicago was supposed to be the windy city. 

But I think the tri-cities is trying  to compete this week for that title.  HOLY COW is it windy or what?  If you were considering doing your hair before going anywhere, don’t bother cause it won’t stand a chance in this weather.
